Jacks Flaps evaluation
« on: June 16, 2005, 10:04:58 AM »

Hey guys and gals

You have to check this vest out if you want to be more comfortable riding

http://www.jacksflaps.com/

Jack sent me one to try out in return for an evaluation and here's my response, I posted this because the vest works, not because of the free vest.

Ok Jack
Here's the review of the vest I promised you.

Went out yesterday and tried out your aero vest and found that it worked well as you advertised. I have a low profile winshield on my SE Deuce , and being 5' 10'', I found that it created much turbulence under the german helmet that I wear at road speeds. The helmet at times would pull back on the chin strap to a point of being uncomfortable and tilt the helmet backwards because of the brim on the helmet. When I tried it with your vest on, I noticed at about 45 MPH that the flaps lifted and that the wind was being diverted around my face and head and made for a much more comfortable ride. The helmet was now comfortable to wear and the chin strap did not pull nearly at all, proof that your design really does work! I'm not an easy sell when it comes to most things , but the aero vest does exactly what you say it will, plus providing a much more comfortable and enjoyable experience, they are also priced at a very affordable price !The only thing I would change as mentioned earlier , is to put pocket flaps with snaps for protection of your personal things, but otherwise, it's a great product and I will get some good use out of it.

Thanks for a great invention Jack

Thanks TCSTD I am just trying to get the word out that you don't have to put up with the wind and turbulence around your eyes and face unless you want to    [smiley=bigok.gif]
