Front shift lever
« on: October 13, 2009, 02:36:36 PM »

Could use some help, i am trying to find a replacement front shift lever ( the one the linkage hooks to ) that looks like the heel toe shifter that came on a 05 SEEG. The problem is trying to get across to the people on the phone what i want. I have found some but not sure they are the right ones.

Could someone tell me what is the differance between the front shift lever and the trans. shift lever?

Thank's
Ernie

Ernie,

If I understand your description correctly, you are looking for the front gear shift lever (PN 33718-82B). It has a chrome finish and attaches to the same shaft as the heel/toe shifters on one end and to the shifter linkage on the other end. The rear shifter rod lever (PN 33849-97) connects the shift linkage to the transmission and is not chrome.

I thought the parts you push part of levers were same front and rear.    jdo

They're talking about the vertical "lever" on the opposite side of the inner primary.

No, but you could have one 'machined' and then chromed or made to match the slotted levers out of billet aluminum.  That'd be cool.  :coolblue: Don't forget to post the pics when it mounted so we'll all want one.  ;) har.  :drink: spyder
