dyno sheet on my upgrades
« on: September 20, 2009, 02:39:42 PM »

Here are the dyno results from Cycle Rama in St.Pete , Florida.  This bike is 09 serg. I have Stock heads and stock breather, i installed 10.5 to 1 SE high compression pistons, SE 259-E cams, D & D Fat Cat exhaust with ghost pipe and a power commander 5. Bike runs real strong. Head work and throttle body next. Also thinking of changing to MasterTune as the PC-V cannot get rid of the throttle lag from fly by wire.

Nice curve, even after SAE correction the numbers will still look good.  Why no data in the 2000-2,750 RPM range? Baggers spend a lot of time riding there.

sorry here is the sheet.....

just a little work on the heads, and maybe just a bit more squeeze, maybe a little milling and a .030 HG  and you would have a little more. as is its a good setup regardless..

Happy is right on the money
But not a bad sheet.
The throttle speed under 3k albeit adjustable with the TTS is not the only setting needed to tweak the stumble out.

What else would it take to get a smooth acceleration from start, new throttlebody?

do the TTS Mastertune, and of course good luck finding someone that knows the ins and out of it..  if you have someone close,  that is familar  with the TTS you can smooth things out to where you won't believe it.. differant  throttle body  for the application is not needed, save your money for gas and touring  fun.

I was referring to the FBW TBs and tuning setup for them
Your 07 will tune just like any of them with a SERT with the addition of the V-Tune feature that will allow you to tune it in the closed loop areas for the most part should you decide to do that and have a laptop and the ability.
