Corbin finally arrived in Dresden
« on: October 10, 2009, 06:58:22 AM »

wednesday, my new corbin seat after almost 3 month finally arrived - and I think I like it. Took the bike for some 250 m yesterday afternoon to the Erzgebirge and the bike felt a lot nimbler with the lower seat. Still a bagger of course, but a little less overweight  ;)

Some pics:

Quality and comfort are perfect - only one - minor - complaint: heating is either very hot or off - will need some tweaking  :)

looks nice Kraut, good job. it feels nimbler because you lower your center of gravity with the new seat.

Classic Solo, stock features except vinyl instead of leather.

Don`t you ordered a rider backrest ?
Or a heated one ?
What did you pay at the end , seat , shipping , tax , custom ?
How tall are you and inse....( ..am) ?

I don't follow that thought, what does it matter where to live

@Highjagger:

1. heating yes, backrest no, never ever  ;)

2. 964,71 Euro netto as the bike is a "business-vehicle"  8)

3. 1,80 cm

@Larry:

we have rain over here quite frequently and as some of my friends complain that their leather-seats (Le Pera, Corbin) are not really dry even after 2 or 3 days following a heavy shower I don't want no leather on my bike. If I lived in a desert aerea, I might think differently ...
