Flew by the dam today on my way to a business trip to Las Vegas. You may be able to see it in this shot. Beautiful day to fly. I was on the right side of the plane and had a great view of the Grand Canyon!

Be glad when the bypass is finished.I winter in Vegas & ride to Kingman or Temple Bar for breakfast often.Not bad crossing the dam early,but the return can be 2 hours or more just to get across the dam.Lots of times we just come back through Laughlin to avoid the traffic.
  A lot of the new bridge was poured in place.Be another year before the road's in place & open.
