I want to thank everyone on the forum for their feedback. It was really helpful making my mind up on a new SEUC. I traded in my 2006 Heritage Softail Classic and my 2009 UC
and got the my sales guy to agree on $6500 difference. I brought my two bikes over and since the 2010 SEUC won't be here until Feb. he told me that he only needs to make $500 on each bike and if he can sell mine for more, he will pass on the difference to me. I will be getting the Burnt Amber model. I was wondering what mods to do when it arrives? I talked to a friend who works in the service dept. and he said Vance and Hines pipes and airfilter and SERT. I was going to go with that and also was thinking of getting chrome buttons and some chrome around the radio. Wondering what everyone thinks? Any input would be apprectiated. Once it is here in the next several months  will send tons of pictures. I can't wait!

Congrats on the new bike.    Great color selection. Just read the different post in the forums and you'll get plenty of suggestions on how to spend even more money.

You can go to the SEUC board and I'm sure you'll come up with a whole list of mods.

Congrats -

In 2009, my first year, my mods have been:

* swap out the snap lower door covers for hinged doors (eglide goodies)
* switch the passenger floor boards from one side to the other (this will give the driver more leg room when putting
   feet on the ground - the rear boards will no longer hit the back of your legs)
* heated gear connectors (extends the season in Ohio a good 30-45 days)
* Monster Oval slip on pipes - better look, better sound (sounds like a Harley now - but not too loud) did this mod
   late in the year
* I road without the backrest for the first 2000 miles - then put it on....... now have 12000+ miles and it is not
   coming off
* rider floor board extenders - outward
* Clearview re-curve 11.5 windshield
* 2 inch height increase in mirrors
* Tour pak hinges
* Remove all "stupid" stickers

2. I like the Fullsac set up for the exhaust with TTS
3. Clearview windshield
4. Kuryakyn LED turn signals

Note to self... we need a money w/wings on it emiticon..... seems that money flying out of wallets/pockets happens a lot around here.

Congrats on the deal. And Wow what a color you have on order. Now to pass the time you will ned to start a SEUC Starter Kit. So get you a box and start ordering the Mod's you can do yourself. This will keep you busy until the scooter gets here. This bike is worth the wait.

I just replied on your other thread, and then I saw you made the decision...the better decision, in my opinion.  For now, all I can say is you have asked a very dangerous question here.

let's see what we can do here, Hmmmm.
I'd start with a heat gun, some WD-40 and remove all reflectors and stickers
after that, exhaust upgrade and tune, read up on these. the V&H and the SERT leaves something to be desired
