help switching bars

what do you have to 2 to get tbw out of barend ,wires seem to get buried in harness

What do you mean "wires get buried in harness". Have you disconnected and removed the individual wires from the TBW and other handlebar control connectors?

On a SEUC, the extra length of TBW is tie strapped to the inner fairing.  Once the extra TBW is loosened inside the fairing, you have to push on it as you remove the TBW barrell from the bar.  I assume your SERG would be the same.
