Road_Glider If I could ask, what have you got tied up in your ride. I really like the way you set it up visually and your post indicates some major mechanical changes as well. What was the out the door price ? Been thinking of retiring the SERK to runs of under 500 and buying an RG and decking it out.  BB

I am north of 34K on this scooter.  I know many will say you could have bought a SEULTRA for that amount  but then that is not the scooter I wanted.  I am into the RG and wanted to upgrade from the '02 RG that I had so this was the only route for me.  Even knowing what I got in this bike I still am glad it is mine.  Bike rides like a dream and get's plenty of attention.

Road Glider,

What kind of mounting bracketry did you use for the lower driving lights? (Look like PIAA ligths).

lights are from www.motolight.com  nice quality product but a little pricey.  They are way bright and much more so than the HD fog lights.  Ones I got are the caliper mounts.

R_G You don't need to explain to me. I've been waiting for a CVO RG since I sold my 00 Pumpkin. The RG is the most stable and comfortable of the H-D baggers out on that "long lonesome highway" I wouldn't diss you if you had 40K in it. Guy I know has nearly 50K in an 06 SEEG. Say what you will about the MoCo making boo coo  bucks off us addicts, it makes us happy. Great ride dude just great !!

Very happy with the shield.  Just what I wanted, I can see over it not thru it and get very little wind buffeting.  If it rains you can just snap on a face shield or wear the full face helmet.  That would be the only draw back is you get a little more rain in the face than with the stocker since it is shorter than stock.  To me it is the way to go.  Plus I think it looks better than the stock shield.

I was right there waiting with you.  In fact I was on the list way in advance for the '06 CVO touring bike and was quite disappointed it was not a RG.  Once they made the announcement that the '06 CVO touring was not going to be a RG I decided to build my own.  What you don't get going that route is a limited production bike with a better resale value on the back end.  But it is what it is you know.  Sometimes you just have to go for it and do it your way.

Man I had to do some searching to find out what OCD was then I realized maybe the fact that I was back on this site and reading posts and searching for the answer meant I had it.
