Anyone ever add LED lights to a CVO with a leather tour pack?
« on: December 15, 2009, 02:37:06 PM »

As always, it is hard to leave everything alone, has anyone out there done anything to make their bike more visable from the rear when equipped with a leather tour pack?

Looking to do something that does not destroy the looks or stick out.

Thanks,

Chains

On my 07 I used the Radiantz on the leather tourpak.   It was a very easy install.   I used the red strip.
When I did the install I used a tiny drill bit to go through the leather and tourpak.   The only caution is to have someone look at the lights from a far as it seems they can droop a bit in the middle while you are gluing them to the tour pak.

Thanks everyone this helps greatly, my biggest concern is the looks and from what you have shown me I can do this discreetly and it will light the rear at night.

Thanks again and Merry Christmas.

I haven't figured out how to link threads but if you search for posts under my name, you'll see how I used two 4 1/2' Radiantz strips- one along each vertical rear corner seam (below the TP lid).   Its a more traditional look than the single strip.
