Freja,I don't know what your total cost  is going to be, but sometimes (considering the amount of changes you are making) a person would do better just to swap out the entire motor. I did it on an evo I had and although I had some problems with the Brand New complete S&S built engine (see evo section) I still think it was the right thing. Mechanically my concern would be that can your stock cases be reliable with that much extra power. JMO Whatever you do good Luck CAHDBIKER   P.S. I also got to sell my evo engine for $2700.00 to offset the cost.

An '06 Dyna/any '07+up BT, the only motor you can buy is an HD or Jim's Motor. Otherwise, you MUST build your own as you're planning. I'm not familiar with their kit, but I assume it comes with a new crank. If it's a bigger stroke, it certainly does. But I'd be replacing the crank if not too. Does it use their heads also? Think about S&S's manifold, TB and FI system for this. I've heard very good things about it.

Another thing to consider is modifying your HD FL frame and use an S&S X-Wedge motor. I saw a guy do it on a HD frame bagger, and in an FXR too. Looked awesome! Might become a future project for me someday too! Good luck with your work Freja! :2vrolijk_21:

The kit includes their heads, crank,cams..What do you think about the crankcase,it´s the only thing that I keep original.Have to use it because of the laws in Sweden.Already got the 58TB,V&H Hi Output and S-E Heavy Breather..Thanks for yours input....
