Hi.

I bought Amigo Jorges FXR4 and I will get it here in Norway around June 29.
Then I have to arrange the European things; EU headlight, desibel test, and Kph speedo before I can get a title.
Do anyone know what kind of electronic speedo the fxr4 has? Is it the -98 style or the 99-03 style connectors?

(the service manual supplement is coming with the bike)

Just got the service manual supplement in my hands. So just to inform here:
The FXR4 has got the 99-03 style with one small dutch connector in the bottom.

Then my next question is: What will be the best not original speedo to use for this bike?
Dyna, Sportster 1200, or is it other products recommended? I guess the different parts numbers are used because of different final gearing in different type of bikes?

Check out Dakota Digital. I've had 2 of them, one on an FXR style Big Dog and one on an 07 Road King. My best friend has a complete set on his 08 Street Glide, which I helped him set up. All of which work flawlessly. Hope this helps.

I am struggeling to understand which of the Dakota you can use. Most of them fit 2004 and newer models. Do they fit into the dash on the tank without problems?
