We rode on 010110.
It was the Annual New Years Day Directors Ride.
The director wasn't there so I had to lead.
Was a little chilly but not to bad.
Around 40 degrees.
It's a great way to start a new year.

Glad you are holdin it down Chip.....18deg. here today :nervous:

We get that here sometimes, but, only when there are storms blowing the sand off the beach, and onto the roads!
Is that the same thing???

I almost hate to do this...  :coolblue:
Got up at the crack of 8:00 a.m., rode from beautiful Santa Monica to Pasadena to watch the Rose Parade in 72* weather.  Saw the parade near the end so it did not start for us until 9:30 a.m.  Then had brunch and a ride up Angeles Crest Highway to Newcomes' Ranch and then over Big Sullivan Canyon back to Sunland and eventually home.  Got in about 140 miles.  Must have gotten down to 50* in the mountains!   :nervous:  Thinking about posting Rose Parade pictures to but did not want you guys to shoot me!  (Only bad thing was the devastation from the fires this year.)   :(
