www.thank-u.com
That is the same company that is mentioned in this post...

It's a dealer thing, however you may want to look at this old thread - Wall Plaque Of Your Motorcycle and try contacting that company and see if they are still making them....

OK, more reason to believe that this plaque is a dealer incentive and not something from the MoCo. You mention a new company doing it now... what company is that? Those that want one may be able to contact them and get one made. :nixweiss:

We've never recieved a plaque for any of the bikes we've bought here in Ca. Only a book and recall notices. I probably should have framed the notices.  :D

Change dealers

That's the plan...as soon as this maintenance agreement runs out.  I know I shouldn't have purchased it in the first place, but since I did, I'm going to use it up.  It only lasts until 30,000 miles, and I did 23,000 this year, so I won't be there much longer.

The real shame of it is that everything I've ever needed from them, I've eventually had taken care of by them.  Instead of making everything difficult, if they are going to take care of it anyway, why not just do it with a smile?

I have that problem once in a while, I think we all do.

Very seldom.........that's why I always give my dealership kudos.

I would be happier with quality service more than a plaque to hang on my wall. I was in the local dealership about 3 months ago ago, now keep in mind I have not been in there since the warranty ran out on my 1990 Heritage, I recognized the salesman that sold me that bike and was shocked when he not only remembered my name he also remembered the bike he sold me. The only reason I had never went back after the warranty ran out was because I did all my own work, bought the manual at the same time I bought the bike. No plaque just good service.

When a person spends over $40,000.00 at an H.D. delership, I would expect quality service, and I would hope the sales person would remember you. And I do not think it to be unreasonable to throw in a plaque that might cost the dealer $40.00.  I am an auto technition and also never have the dealer work on my bikes after the warranty expires. I still think -- Good service and a plaque!

Ordered today from  www.thank-u.com for $39.95 plus shipping of $5.00    I know that was way to much to ask of the dealer where the bike was purchased. But they did give me a plastic water bottle, a key chain fob, a t-shirt and a tube of chapstick (all with their advertising imprinted).
