For the second time, both times in the rain, when I get home from a 50 or so miles ride, it smells like hot/burning wire. Both times the seat and grip heat was activated, both on high. Anyone else encounter this??? Unable to located it....

Have added nothing to the bike so far, so whatever it is, its a stock issue.

I've mentioned to Terrie a couple times, when returning from a ride, "it smells like burning rubber". I've only smelled it a couple times and it's when I ride straight into the garage. Haven't found anything.....the lights and gauges all still work.

Yep, same thing here, once or twice it was like wires, other time like rubber...........

Thanks for posting, at least now I know I'm not the only one, judging by the feedback here, maybe I'm only the 2nd one!!! It's going in for service today, I'm going to write it up, maybe others have reported it also
