7 weeks of sciatica

Shurely someone else has sufered with sciatica any advice on a fix welcome. :(

Sorry to hear bout your pain, it is definitely sucks big time. 

For me when it acts up I usually go for a/few Massages, Rest, Heating Pad, Stretching (Back / lower Back, hamstrings)  All the excercises they teach ya when you have had problems with your back.

While it is flared up I usually end up taking muscle relaxers (anti inflamatories) and pain meds.

After 7 weeks I would try a Chiropractor if that wont work they can do a series of injections . That is what worked for me , i have been fine for 3 years now with occasional adjustments if i feel it acting up. the longer you wait the more inflamed et seems to get   Good Luck Billy
