What kind of seat do you have on your FLHTCUSE4
« on: April 20, 2010, 05:38:34 PM »

OK Guys,   looking for a better seat than the stock seat I currently have.  Been looking at the Saddlemen Road Sofa, and I understand that the FLHTCUSE3  seat is the best seat on two wheels.  Been trying to find one but that is a hard item to come by.  Would certainly rather have the heated seat,  better half thinks she has to have the heat.  Anyway,  I have been looking hard, and not sure what I really need.  I have lower back problems and need a deep bucket I think.  Anyway,  was curious what the rest of you are riding on.

Thanks Jimmy

I can certainly vouch for that.  The seat that came stock on my Duracell is without a doubt the most comfortable seat I have ever ridden on.  I can just keep going and going and going all day long.

Not sure if it'll fit on your bike though... Possibly not with the newer frame???  :nixweiss:

Check with your dealer and if it will, you won't be disappointed if you go ahead and order one.  Very pricey, but again I have never been so comfortable.

I went with a stock 2010 ultra seat on my 09, it's lowwer and I can put my feet firmly on the ground

Grizzly is correct the '08 seat is awesome, and it will fit the 2009-10 SE Ultras. I've had my 08 seat on my 09, fits like a glove.

Egultrac,
any chance you could post some pics of the '08 seat? Also does anyone have a part # for it?  I'm assuming the passenger backrest (one attached to tour pak) would need to change also in order to match??

The 08 Seat on the SEUC is a very comfortable seat but I had to have it replaced once for the stiching coming apart and the leather flaking off on the edges. FYI The MOCO replaced it under warranty.

It must have better padding in the areas that count, plus it is all leather.

The '09 SEUC seat is not leather? I have the '09 CVO brochure and it does not provide much of a description.

Taking a three day ride this weekend. I expect I will find out how comfortable this set is very quickly.
