HK Radio Repair----Round # 2

My radio is once again doing the loud popping and sound drop away. I can either OFF/ON or rock the amp switch and it will make speakers work again. Also the display tends to lose info.


My question is this, anyone know what the general policy is on extended warranty before they would replace with another instead of "repair" this one?

I was told that all they will do is repair.  But then again its better than not fixing it at all. :-\

I had a CD get stuck in the HK. Dealer replaced it under extended warranty. I even got My CD back. I guess it depends on the dealer

If it's still warranty they will more than likely replace it with a refurb unit

I have the extended warranty as well and decided to send my HK Advanced Audio System out to Iron Cross Audio, pay for it myself and I have to say they really improved all aspects of the system.
