Damnit Don pay attention.

D00d's hinges are for pre 06 bikes, no 02 sensors in those hinges and none required.

Unless he adds a supercharger then he may need a set of sensors and bling/bling lights.

SBB

You forgot about his accessory addition to the hinges.  He got the TTS Thunderhinge with the Autohingealignment V module.  It's the chit.  Except when it's not.  Unless the hinges are (potentially [or perhaps]) too far downstream from the tour pak.  Then you can't throw your dirty knickers in the tour pak for fear of alienating the fuel economy gremlins or causing the whole thing to go "oompa loompa oompa loompa" (some of this technical crap is just way beyond me).

Geez. I'm confused.

I was thinking about the spoiler lights, but got the hinges instead.  Do I need to age them before installation?  What if I age them too long?
If so, Dood, are you interested in trading for a new set? I could install the aged ones now, and you could continue the ageing process!
Just tryin to be helpful.

Don't install them.  If you do you'll want to install O2 sensors in them.  Then they'll fail.  Or maybe they won't.  Or something in between.  Perhaps.
Uh No!!! That's a whole different story thread. ::) :P :stars: :rolleyes2: :juggle2: :rolleyes3: :dizzy2: :uhoh: :juggle: :uhoh2: :deal2: :zroflmao: :zroflmao:

Hmmmm... never thought of that... buy new hinges, age them, then sell for profit. :idea2: :deal: :zroflmao: :zroflmao:

Got a set from a member here about 2 years ago.....just installed them last weekend.

Only work as brake lights. Could move a wire in the deutz connector under the seat to change them to running only

Going to leave it as brake only
I think that's definitely the way to go if you're interested in the 'safety' aspect since a visual contrast from off to on is much better than just brighter......especially with LED's.  JMHO.  spyder
