Rider Backrest?
« on: February 24, 2010, 04:25:03 PM »

Does anyone know if you can buy the new backrest that comes on the CVO Ultra's. The ones with the lumbar support? Is this a protected item for the Ultra's only?

I seem to remember the parts guy saying (to another customer) that it IS available, not restricted.  As for the rider back rest, chit I put mine on for about 2 blocks, pushed me way to  far forward.  I'm only 6' 2", but I'm long legged so it does not work for me.

Pull the seat off and you can position the rider backrest further back. I had to do that to mine, it was way too close for comfort. I believe that there are three holes in the mounting plate if I remember correctly.
