Yellow Wolf is a GL 1800 Goldwing outfitted with video equipment.

I'm pretty sure he got "bit" last year.

Last time I was at the gap, they had posted quick times for riding the road.  The fastest time was by a local on a Wing.  Those things will run if you want them to.

Just in case anyone wants to know, Yellow Wolf hold the record
at the GAP, for 24 hours. I forget how many miles, but that guy
can ride a Wing. My understanding is he now has a new Wing,
and someone bought old Yellow, and loves it.

I don't think anyone can outride Yellow Wolf on a bike that big.

The 1800 I had would handle like a dream, my Harley's always seemed to corner better to me though.

Many a "real good" rider have gone down.......

Met a Winger last weekend, he as an 09 wing and did a "frame up, sport tune up", fella could ride no doubt about it.  Yes, a Wing will get up and go like dang few bikes ever will, in the right hands it's one hell of a sport machine... but then again "many a good rider" have gone down.   The older I get, the less I push the limits of my bike AND me.  Function over style for many of the over 50 crowd.  But I do miss those days, I'd be BSing if I said otherwise.
