Vance & Hines "Big Shot" True Dual's
« on: December 18, 2005, 09:24:53 PM »

Has anyone tried the new Big Shot Duals by Vance & Hines on their SEEG?

I am wondering how the install went and if any Dyno sheets are available. Clearance of the brake pedal has been an issue for several pipes in the past.......how are the new Big Shots working out?

I'd be interested in this too.  Seems we have the same bike and I am narrowing down what pipes and aircleaner to put on in February.  I had V&H BSS on my Heritage and loved the sound....that's my benchmark for the SEEG pipes.
So far the choices seem to be Caliber TruDuals, Rush slipons and now I've seen a pic of Krome Works T-Rex Duals.

I have a set of V&H True duals and SEII slip-ons on my SEEG2, and the power and sound is great.   Nice and quiet running down the road with little to no throttle, real deep tone with no popping, and quite snarly on accell and decell.  Seems to have on nice fat spot in the torque curve right in the middle too, but that's only from the seat of the pants.  No dyno with these pipes...  My brother in law is running the same set of headers with the Hooker tuned flow slip-ons, and his sound is even nicer.  A little smoother sounding maybe...

FWIW.....Today I rode one of my buddy's bike's, a 2004 Ultra Classic. Was a bone stock Twin Cam 88 until last week he added a SE Breather Kit, Vance & Hines "Big Shot True Duals" w/Fish Tail End Caps and a Vance & Hines "Fuek Pack". He set the Fuel Pack up with a map for his combination from the owner's manual which came with the unit.

Result's were impressive!  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

The bike ran perfectly, with no hesitation...no cracking....no popping at all.

The pipes also looked very good on the bike. The fit and finsh was excellent. And they have a typical V&H sound to them low and mellow when just putting around and they bark when you twist it hard.
