Stupid Techs
« on: March 29, 2010, 10:10:58 AM »

A friend has a 2009 Ultra and complained about the heat.  I explained what needed to be done, stage 1, retuned, etc.  Tech told my daughter (who works at dealership).  The tech ( I was wrenching before his parents went to high school) told my daughter that I didn't know what I was talking about, and that since the bike was fuel injected, it has to be running right.

I hate to be a nit picker, but you made a mistake in your post.  You called this person a "technician".  I would call him a "dumb ass".

Oh, and btw, it's a Harley so the way it runs stock is "normal", and therefore should not create undue concern for your friend.
