FUEL GAUGE ?
« on: March 10, 2010, 09:21:24 PM »

I have an 03 Softail Deuce ( EFI) and would like to install the Rocker fuel gauge kit #62811-08. Are there any good or bad reports on this change? Thanks for any help you can offer.

I installed the setup on my 04 deuce and I love them!! I will. Try to post pictures when it quits snowing here. It literally took me about 15 minutes to install. No problems, awesome look!

one from the front. this was a very simple install just read instructions carefully. here is a synopsis, pull fuel gauge straight up, locate where wires and connector come out of the bottom of tank, unplug connector, i just clipped the wires a ways from the connector so they could be re- soldered if put back to stock, push new gauge wires through straw tube in tank, put wires in new connector (has a diagram to show which holes to put them in), push gauge into tank and tighten a couple screws, put new fuel cap on, first install cap bezel with tape backing still on (have to rotate bezel to find which way it fits tank best  bezel is curved), remove backing tape and install bezel, todah it is done! like i stated before took about 15 minutes!!
