Looking for help with TTS MasterTuner
« on: March 14, 2010, 04:11:36 PM »

Anyone out there have any experience with the TTS MasterTuner? I have everything here to put on my bike except I have no clue to what I'm doing. I guess I thought maybe some instruction would have came with this.
Nice weather here today, kind of wanted to get this done and try it out before we get snow again.

Any help would be appreciated.. I'll pay for the phone call!!!!

You need to run the TTS updater program to get instructions, maps, and latest software...

As stated above, once you run the disc, I went ahead and downloaded the TTS available maps even though I used the emailed one from Steve.

When you hook up to the bike the first time, when programming, it will ask if you want to save the factory map and do so and it is saved in the TTS dongle.

Once you get Steve's emailed map, save it to the TTS program, open it, click on file-download to ecm..  Follow instructions exactly.  It will say completed or not and sometimes the data gets interupted and you have to do it again.

You also have to select a "com port" normally 4-11..   I don't know what type of port your laptop or computer has but I had to buy a USB to parallel cable to hook up to my computer and the TTS dongle.  Hope this helps.

Download the Tuning Manual from the TTS web side and read it at least twice.  Then start reading the help files in the software.  It will eventually begin to make sense.
