Trailer Hitch
« on: February 09, 2012, 11:01:23 PM »

Looking to add a trailer hitch to the 2012 CVO to pull a portable camper.  Anyone find one that works well with this bike?  If so, would you mind posting pics, and if you installed it by yourself.

Only one I know of made for the CVO SG is from Bushtec.  Check their site.

Thanks a ton!  If anyone has installed one on their CVO and has any advice - I would appreciate it.

Battery isolater harness is highly recommended.

Instead of splicing into your harness, I'd ask bushtec if they have a Y harness adapter.

I had to build my own Y harness to add the tourpac lights to my 2011 CVO SG. The connectors on the SG are different than what comes on the CVO Ultra or with the wrap around LED light bar.

WOW  :huepfenjump3: Mike, I love the lights on the back of your scooter  :2vrolijk_21: They are beautiful.  After being hit in the rear when sitting still by a cage killer going 65 mph, I just don't feel as if one can have enough lights and two thumbs up to you for a GREAT setup.   :znotworthy:
