Looking for ways to light up the back of the bike since i have the leather tour pack this is what I did so far.  I replaced the stock taillight with the Chrome Led Taillight ($140), I replaced the stock turn signal bulbs with LED Bulbs ($32), and added the Tri-Bar Lighted Rear Fender Extension ($180). I used Kuryakyn Run Turn Brake Controller ($72) to make the Brake Lights function as Running and Brake Lights also. I liked this controller because it did not require any splicing and plugged straight in. I have had it on for about month now and there have been no issues. Any Opinions?

Looks good.  Since you said "so far" you might search for the posts under my name.  I added vertical LED lights along the outside seams of my leather TP.  I not only wanted more rear light but also wanted to add interest to the somewhat boring expanse of black looking at the TP from the rear.  THere are details and pix in my posts.

Funny you say that Guy, I saw your post and thought it looked good. I m just not sure I want to put anything on the leather yet in case I change to a King Tour Pack. What I really need is someone to make a bracket so I can attach a light just below the leather tour pack, possibly using the bolt that is already there, so I can attach a LED to that. But I liked your lights I will keep that in mind if i can t figure out something else.

Bright Ass tail lights are outstanding:

Their basic tail light, BAL-1, is certainly pricey compared to other tail lights, including HD's LED, but far brighter with a high intensity run light setting as well as flash patterns.

I've seen HD's LED tail light and it pales in comparison to BAL's basic tail light.

Yeah I found out about that particular light shortly after I bought this one...So use this for a while then maybe upgrade it...

Hi jamescode3,

You can find some very extensive posts on here about increasing the lighting especially in the back of the bikes that have the leather Tourpac.
I like the fender tip light setup you have, that was not available in 2006 when i got my bike. I do have the old version at the bottom of the fender as well as the saddlebag spoiler lights. I also have the saddlebag latch led lights.
One light setup that was very popular for us 2006/07 owners was to get a light strip from Custom Dynamics and install it just under the lip of the Tourpac lid between the antennas. It was easy to run the wiring into the pac and connect the LED bar into an unused plug. The light bar is easy to install by cleaning the pac with an alcohol wipe where you want to install it and just sticking it on.
Most people who did this light bar got it in a red lens but I got it in clear with red bulbs. I feel this light bar is in a better location then under the pac where it could be hidden and below a tailgater's vision. I like to spread out my lights so it can be seen from a distance and a person behind you will be able  to better judge your distance and size.
This is the only shot i can find right now of the light bar by Custom Dynamics but if you find the old threads you will see many photos and some of them at night of other members LEDs.
