Which Bike to Ride????
« on: April 12, 2010, 10:35:27 AM »

I got an e-mail from HD, http://freecountry.harley-davidson.com/superride/landing.php?source_cd=Email_0040610_Super-Ride&camp_id=16

I own an Ultra, so, Which bike do i want to test ride? I am particularly interested in doing this mostly because i can. Secondly because the stealer i wan't to go to has this particular sales person that once told me "There is no such thing as a test ride anymore except the HD sales tour". PR!CK  :-X

All of them. Here in Oklahoma on demo day all you have to do is take your helmet and your endorsement and say lets ride and away you go as many times as you want.

I had several dealers, not just Harley, tell me no test rides (when the economy was much better).  Funny what a dose of reality will do...

The Yamaha dealer in my area does not have demo rides anymore due to liability issues. A guy got hit by a car a few years ago at a intersection and they do not have demos anymore. Its becoming really pathetic...... :jack:

I demoed quite a few the last time they came through town ,  I think HD realizes that in this economy if they expect people to shell out for thier bikes , they have to give them a taste.

I've ridden all but V-rods and Rockers..  My favorite non bagger was the Street Bob .. it just handled the best. ( better than my FXDX and FXDWG3)

Obviously, get on a CVO if you can.  Any bike they let you ride for free is worth riding!
