09 SEUC Advance Audio GPS SYS. Question
« on: June 20, 2010, 02:34:26 AM »

Just had my 09SEUC since June 6th still getting used to all the gadgets, it has been storming a lot here so rode after dark tonight for 1st time. Found it hard to see XM info and time in radio display. Here is my question and things I was wondering about. Is the GPS info also hard too see? No, still working on getting mine set up. I was really interested in thread about mounting ZUMO660 up on dash like the 2010's. Looks great. I already have 660 with bike harness that I got for Christmas that I never put on 03 RKC. I see others are using 660 or 665 is it because they are way better than factory unit or whats the deal. I have read Owners Manual on HD GPS 2 times and from using 660 in the wifes car the 660 unit seems much more user friendly than the factory unit. Thanks   BTW LOVE THE SEUC, still adjusting to TBW!

The Garmin 550, 660 or the new 665 is 1000% better the the Harley unit in the radio. You can also load your songs in MP3 format onto a SD card, insert the card in the GPS, connect the GPS to the radio and listen away. Many options to also make or receive a cell phone call using the Bluetooth funtion of the GPS. XM is available on the 550 and 665 but not the 660.

Do a search on the forum and you will find threads on mounting the unit to the dash. Here is one:
