I didn't think the Bub mufflers had packing in them. I know they don't have cats, they are also one of those companys I believe that most of their mufflers say "off road use".
I know that my Rineharts did not have packing and when I tried to wrap the baffles the fiberglass just blew out the back. I even called Bub and asked for their suggestions on wrapping the baffles. There suggestion was to wrap the baffle loose then use masking tape to hold it on, well about 200 miles and a few good cracks of the throttle packing was gone. I bought the packing off of ebay that was recommended by a few members here and bought the stranded baffle filler for motocross out of a company in CA. I tried both, the stranded baffle material handled better but it did not last either - I guess that is why motocross guys are always repacking their mufflers. I really did not notice any different in noise with the packing for the few miles it was still in the muffler

so I bought a new set of pipes which I Really Like.
