Break in before installing Fullsac?
« on: April 25, 2010, 10:53:14 AM »

I have a Crimson Black Ultra coming in a few weeks and plan on putting a stage 1 Fullsac kit complete with Xpipe, TTS Tuner, power cores & High Flow A/C.  I had planned on having it installed before I took delivery of the bike just to get it done.  Is there any reason I should wait till my 500 mile check to get it done other than being able to tell how much better performance I'm getting??

Just my opinion, but no reason to wait, especially if you want bike to run cooler from the get go. That's what I did.

IMHO no. The stock set-up is to lean and produces to much heat. I would want the engine running cool and in the best tune possible from the start, instead of running 500 miles or more in a lean condition. JMHO

My '09 I had to wait about 500 miles, the '10 I did it right away....no problems.
I would say "why wait"?
