Mustache engine gaurd foot pads
« on: April 24, 2010, 08:11:17 PM »

Has anyone needed to replace the footpads on the mustache bars before ?  How are they held on ?  My right one seems loose but there's no fasteners coming up from underneath.  I can't imagine that they're bonded on, but what do I know anyhow ???

We did a "Harley Demo Days" today and had a 2010 SESG as one of the test bikes.
The rubber pad on the mustache is glued on.
I know because the pad fell off on a test ride.

Bah...forgot to search....my bad....think I found my own answer...kinda surprised it's just glue  :nixweiss:

Also the rubber foot strips on the Mustache are removable as there is little if any adhesive we have had several just fall off of bikes in the shop!

Far as I know, they're only glued on. ;)

Hoist! :coolblue:
