Dangerous Drives / Rides
« on: April 29, 2010, 09:31:09 AM »

Did anyone catch the show "Dangerous Drives" last night on SPEED TV?

The hour long show was all about U.S. 550 (Million Dollar Highway) in Colorado and was mainly about truckers, but there was a fair bit about motorcyclists as well.

One of the final comments was that you would have to look far and wide to find a more picturesque road, but they doubted that there was a more dangerous drive in America.

Saw it, love that ride! Also take a detour to Black Canyon of the Gunnison.

Talon,

We are staying in Gunnison and then the Million Dollar Highway to Cortez on or way to South West GTG. How much time to go to Black Canyon of the Gunnison on Route 347 and back out to 50? I think we will have time to add this to the trip.
