Removing Stock Paint Protection Film
« on: May 12, 2010, 08:44:10 PM »

I know the guys running solo seats will have the answer to this one....any tricks to removing the paint protection film under the seat and on the side covers?  I'm going to be replacing it with 3M film providing a little more coverage and less obvious to the eye.  I think someone had previously posted using a hair dryer to warm it up before peeling it off???

Mine came on easily also. Needed a little "Harley Glaze" to clean it up

mine came off easy leaving it out in the sun, then take some WD 40 to remove the glue.
