The holder mounted beside the front cylinder must be to keep bevearges warm  :D
In my case, with a '07 CUSE2, I could boil water for pasta or heat up some soup!!!

Just installed the locking doors and cup holder from Hog Trough on my new 2010 Ultra Classic perfect fit, looks great and the cup holder holds large cups or bottles. the 20 oz coffee cup kept my cold drink cold for several hours. much better than my old system hanging off of the Saddlebag guard.  Got this for my Black bike and may have to paint the chrome black to match :P  locking doors can be rekeyed to match the bike keys if wanted. just a great product.
cheers
John

I've had them for several years and several bikes.  The beverage holder keeps things pretty warm, even if they're supposed to be cold.  I removed the cup holder and mounted a button for my garage door opener.
