I suspect your dealer is either uneducated or lazy  ... there's quite a few SERK's out there with detachable tour paks -- mine being one of them 

Now...having said that, mine is in '08 so I can't specifically speak for an '07 other than to say I ride with a guy who has on '07 SERK and he has the same setup I do... 

Part numbers that I purchased are:
53276-04  Detachable Two-Up Tour-Pak Mounting Rack
53988-07  Touring Detachable Docking Hardware Kit

The only problem that I can mention (and not really a "problem") is that the back two "slots" on the mounting rack are kind of tight fitting to the mounting points.  I have to line up the front two tabs and get them situated first, then ease the back to slots down on top of the mounting points.. but before they will drop low enough to click / lock I have to push them out (away from the bike) bout 1/4 inch first.  That widens it out enough to drop into place so that it can be locked.  I'm making it sound a lot worse than it really is but it's a little difficult to explain -- and it may not be that way on all of them.

I think you are right lazy and/or uneducated, They said there was nothing out there that would work and i told them there has to be because there is a lot of SERK's owners that have already done this very thing. Again thanks for the part numbers and all the help and advise you and everyone else has given.

Majorrocky, Miker and Ghostrider, Thanks for all the help and great info, The Tour Pak and Hard bags are on the way to Bigfaty's (paint by gene), All the other parts and pieces are ordered from Jenny at Tri County H-D, She saved me appox. 700.00 on the TP and the parts i needed.
