Edmonton just passed a noise bylaw, I know what most riders think, just wondering if your city / town has tried to pass this law?

Was there any mention of "how" the readings were to be taken    Are they allowed to hold the meter at the end of the pipe?  Or is it measured from the riders seat position? Or at the handle Bars? The "Cops " need to be consistant in applying this new law or it becomes "more biker harassment BS"

“I’ve been fighting for this for a while,” said city councillor Ben Henderson. “[Downtown Edmonton] has a number of places that are very attractive to late-night drag racing. It can be really disruptive to have someone tearing up and down the avenue at two or three in the morning, and it’s a very severe problem for people who choose to live in an urban environment.”

So is the problem loud pipes or the morons drag racing at 2 in the morning...

And what about the other morons drag racing in their rice burner cars...
