Radio question
« on: June 13, 2010, 11:51:02 AM »

Hi all,
just a quick question regarding the difference between the 2007 and 2010 HK advanced audio system?  On my old CVO ultra 2007 I thought the sound was great and could not understand why everyone was switching to Hog tunes etc. Now on my new Black CVO the music is very tinny, no bass. My friend with the same bike finally got to ride his this week and complained of the same problem.
Has HD changed the speakers or software in the radio since 2007, or did i just get lucky on the old bike?  My goal was to keep this bike stock but not sure how long I can listen to the poor quality of the 2010 radio.
 any suggestions
Thanks
Mike

I lost my stock amp when I did the tour pack removal (didn't want the amp relocated in the bags).  So, I went with the Hawg Wired amp in the fairing and new Hawg Wired speakers up front....there is no comparison in the sound.  Seems to me Harley could supply a better system for what we pay for these SEUC's...may contract Hawg Wired to supply OEM equipment.... :2vrolijk_21:
