KC CVO production shut down - no plans to make any more in the future

In KC for business and took the factory tour.  The CVO production is shut down for the forseeable future. No more CVOs from KC- Dyna or V-Rod.  There are two crated Dynas to ship and that is it.  The person I spoke with did not know about York CVO production.  Apparently HD may reevaluate Dyna/V-Rod CVOs several years from now.  I have no other details that I can report.

That makes sense.  The CVO Fat Bob was on its second model year, so that would have been discontinued anyway, and the CVO V-Rod sales were, shall we say, less than stellar, so it doesn't surprise me that they'd be doing another SE V-Rod in the foreseeable future either.  Not really sure this is earth shattering news, other than there won't be an SE Dyna-style for 2011.
