For a 2009 CVO Ultra do you recommend A Dunlop American Elite or Elite 3 radial?

I run the Elite 3's on my 2006 SEUC, only because they don't make a size in the American Elites for my application yet.

I like the Elite 3's better than the 402's for smoothness and dry performance, but they can get a little slick in the rain. I think hat's primarily because there is no tread sipping in the center of the thread.  On the other have, the American Elite as more, and I would think that would help alot.  I would definitely go with the American Elites if I could.

That's where I ordered mine - DennisKirk is great to work with!

The bad thing was, my dealer charged $220 to install. F'ing ridiculous for 45 minutes work.

Yep, HD stands for Hunnerd Dolla's, x 2 tires, plus tax, environmental disposal, and stems.  Ahem.
