include duct tape and cable straps. A small spray can of Ballistol can be most welcome too.
Don't forget a small piece of bailing wire. Saved me when my shifter lever broke in the middle of the place they always break down.

Jerry/MD, One more thing I take is a footpad for my kickstand in case you have to park in the sun on some hot asphalt. Have a great ride. CAHDBIKER

My brother-in-law carries these items on trips. Most times he is with me. This time I will be on my own so I want to be prepared. It's sort of like an insurance policy...if you have it most times it's never needed. When you don't...well you get the idea.  ;)

Once again, thanks for the helpful replies.

Road Tech H3.........  http://www.cruztools.com/products/kitshd.html

Hex Pro....... SAE and STAR sets....    http://www.hexpro.net/purchase-hex-wrenches-online.html

Both of the Hex Pro and Star Pro sets fold up in a long narrow pouch and fit very well in the recessed area at the bottom of the saddle bags!   These are all top quality tools. :2vrolijk_21:

Received my Windzone tool kit yesterday. Lots of useful stuff inside.  :)

Thanks again for the recommendation!

Jerry/MD, I have responded to your post already, but I forgot to mention one important item I bring. A good set of tie downs with soft ties for protection of fairing, chrome etc. I have broken down several times on my 95 Heritage and believe me if you saw the way some of the tow truck drivers want to tie down your bike you would come unglued, so I kind of take charge of that when the situation arises. Not yet on my 09SEUC(silver). Any ways just another two cents from me based on personal experience. CAHDBIKER
