Chubby Wild 1 WO575
« on: June 26, 2010, 04:39:58 PM »

These are not listed for the FLTR/SERG but work great.I have them on a Street Glide but did'nt think of trying them on the SERG,they come back about 2-2 1/2 inches but do not turn your wrist in and they have plenty of pullback and rise for a little more. The wide bars look good and only restrict acess to the top storage boxes by about an inch but that's a very small price to pay.I called John at Chubby first and ask if they would work and he said he was not sure if the bars would clear the inner fairing but they do.I'm 5'11 and they are perfect and my buddies also liked them and they range from 5'9 to 6.0.Check them out if you are looking to get back further in your backrest without going to the  10''apes or something else.

Thanks for posting photos of the 575's on the SERG. I am trying to figure out what bars to get for mine and did not like the look of the 517's, too much pull back.

Are your glove boxes totally unusable?

Sorry about being late responding but to answer both questions but you may loose a half inch of glove box opening if the bars are straight, small price to pay for the comfort. The stand is a Baxley made in Dothan Alabama and by far the best drive on stand made.As you can see I have several other stands and and they slide and the bikes tend to lean and one day I came home to find my CVO fat boy napping on its side. These bars are the best for me and I like the wide look on the SERG.Here's the site for Baxley and check out their trailers.http://www.baxleycompanies.com/Warranty.html
