Topic: Dragonfly Faring where did you mount satellite radio antenna (Read 908 times)

Have a Dragonfly faring and just added satellite radio and just can not find a good place to mount the antenna. I'm open to ideas.
I was able to activate the radio in my garage (no clear view of the sky) and was thinking maybe keep it inside the fairing. But that just does not sound like the best way to go.
May just give me problems down the road.

Where did you mount yours?

when i had sirrius i put the antenna inside the fairing ontop of the head unit, had no problems

I found a great little antenna on ebay that was coned shape and clipped to your handlebars, looked like it was maybe 4-5" tall in the picture, search was under xm radio antennas, might be worth a look.
