Really like the flames on the front fender ... Gr8 decision ... As fer the HD, there will always be another item to add, but less of since most are on ... Keep the chrome protected as the finish is not as well cracked up to be on the footbrake and mirrors ... Found that out real quick ... Aloha

AWESOME bike -- Great decision!  (and good deal)  You will find answers and discussion on just about everything you want to modify in here -- search by topic or use the search function.  Isn't the gold beautiful?  My 08' FLHRSE4 had the gold leaf and I really liked it, so much I have a paint shop experimenting with gold and / or silver leaf for mine now.

TO CVO!!!!

Well I did it guys! here is a couple iphone shots of  her sitting on the showroom floor. My new 2010 Spiced Rum FLHXSE! :mango: :orange: :huepfenjump3:

I really had to think because of the price but after thinking about all that was said as to adding all the stuff on this beautiful ride + They made a smoking deal (better than I had previously posted) and threw in new helmets to boot, I figure I'll be ahead in the long run. Also the better half approved and liked it a lot. It was between this and a vivid black 2010. As she pointed out...almost every rider who walked in the shop stopped and took a long look then walked right by all the other bikes. :2vrolijk_21: I wasn't able to ride her home, it needed to have the pre delivery prep done and My garage needs to have a new sleeping spot readied for her. I'll be picking it up new week and can't wait! :cherry:

So if you don't mind, You will be getting lots of dumb questions from a Newbie! This is my first Harley!

I am sorry... but I have to quip up here.. spiced rum is by far the fastest color!!  It is actually a color developed when all the other colors were passed... the resulting blur, birthed SPICED RUM!!!

Way to go KKF... you are going to love that bike!!   Exhaust... performance fuel/spark curves... upgraded tunes, windshield... get ready for the addiction!

Ask away!  only way to learn!

WELL????   Did you get her?

Yup she is home,

Had a great ride home with friends. We went 130 miles to go 50! :huepfenjump3:

Now I'm called out of town to work so Won't be able to ride, wax, polish, or just admire until Friday :P

Pictures to follow this weekend. My new 8" Freedom Shield should be there waiting for install as well! :cucumber:
One of my buddies rode here for a short stint, he has an 09 FLHX.... he said "Boy I'm thinking I screwed up and should have bought a CVO!" Could not believe the difference in handling! 8)

I'm a happy new CVO Owner! The only complaint I had was the 4" stock windshield is.....well....worthless! :(
