Ok was making sure yous did that also.  So i didn't go replacing the switch thinking it would fix it.  I left the radio on for like an hr in my shop last night and it never shut off.  But i guess something in there is a little loose and after it warms up unless you turn the speakers on and off doesn't work. 

 I replaced the switch, didn't help at all, sorry

I guess i will have time to take the radio appart and see what i find.  Damn thing has drove me nuts enough so tearing the motor completly apart to see what they hell is going on.

Sounds like vibration damage to the radio. With the bike in the shop and not running, no vibration, all is good. If it gets hot enough, it may loose audio, but it depends on how bad the damage it. It will get progressively worse.

Ya thats what they said you found on thiers.  I guess i will pull it out and see if i can find the connections that have come undone or loosened up.
