new delima!
« on: July 26, 2010, 07:25:32 AM »

OK guys I think I know the answer to my question but I hope I'm wrong. This 110 purring like a kitten is killing me! I eventually want boom cans, fullsac x-pipe, and probably a Tts with custom map. That being said I want to know if I can get away with the boomcan slipons right now without running to lean or even hotter than already running? I'm hoping since the extremely restricting cats won't allow much more airflow with just slipons I can get away with them for a couple months.

You can get away with them but the bike is going to run hotter (leaner). Better get some asbestos liner for you right calf.

A new dilemma? ? ? ? ? ? ?
You are in possesion of a bike that ownership is in question.
Dealer says you owe them 3K$ more, you tell us your not sure if you owe it or not.
Now there is a real dilemma!
You want to do upgrades but you say you don't have much money at this time for mods.
Refer back to line 2 of this post.
Wouldn't it be prudent to resolve the ownership/3K$ issue first.
Pipes and tune on a bike you may not own doesn't make a lot of sense.
There's plenty of time for upgrades once the real dilemma is resolved.

Well according to my attorney, the bill of sale, and the certificate of title there doesn't seem to be much ownership problem now! But thanks for the concern.  ;D
