Im using it. I installed it on my 1993 EGC, which I converted into a trike. I needed to add it. I installed a 113 Ultima Engine. I had also installed an oil temp gauge so I could keep an eye on the engines temperature. I'm running 190 to 210. Their design is for a twin cam engine. I was told that it wouldnt hook up to my 1993. But I made it work. I had fabricated a brass junction such as in the attached picture for my hook up. On your scoot,... you wont need to do this. Unless you want to add a oil temperature gauge. Also where their thermal switch mounts. I couldnt do it to my bike. Though I have my oil pan under the trans like yours. My oil pan doesnt have an additional threaded hole next to the drain plug as yours does. Thats where the thermal switch is mounted. I like the idea that, especially on my trike. That when I get caught up in traffic. The cooler set-up maintains my engine temp.

Is this temp in heavy traffic or just cruising. ?  Thanks Doc

It was pretty much standard traffic. Im not one to let my bike idle like forever. Especially since the 113 is still in its break in period. Have about 300 more miles to go. This past june I rode to the smokey mountains. On a trike,... you cant enjoy banking into the curves. It was more work than play. But i was hammering the engine, doing the tight twisties and all. After a while, I saw my temp rise to 230. Like I said. The engines brand new and at that temp I pulled over to let it cool. When its passed it's break-in period. Ill have it tuned right and I'll note the temps. It's just reassuring that the fan comes on at 190. I even went so far as to install an over-ride switch. So I can switch that fan on before it hits 190. Also the fan blades are curved in such a way. That if I travel faster than what I feel the blades are spinning. The fan doesnt fight the air flow. The cooler's set up, as in the way the oil is channeled through the 17 rows. Its not a straight through shot. The oil travels in different ways in there allowing more cooling of the oil.
Ultra cool is doing a revision on their set-up. That extra threaded hole in the oil pan is where some bikes that have an oil temperature gauge. The HD oil temp sending unit is screwed in. Ultra Cool is making it so their thermal switch screws into the Jag block attachment. At that point its still measuring the temp of the oil that comes directly from the tank. Its basically the same set-up I did with my install.
