GTX,
My IMHO you made a good choice.  I had a set of Rineharts installed a few weeks ago and just finished a trip to Key West.  I'm very happy with the sound and the performance.  The Rineharts are actually quieter at highway speeds than the SE Performance slip ons with stock headers I replaced.  I think you'll be very happy.

I guess it didn't accept my attachment of the dyno results. I'll have to try it later. 100.33 HP and 104.09 torque in 4th gear.

Looks better now.

Great #s!!  You should post in the dyno thread, too.

Here's a question that probably doesn't belong here. The dealership stowed the race tuner parts in my saddle bag. Do I need to keep these parts with me all the time in case of a breakdown or for any other reason ?

I wouldn't keep them with you at all times. There is one part "interface" (it's a black rectangular plastic box with place on both ends to attach cables) that you will need to make sure nothing happens to. This is what links your ECM to RT, once it's used on your bike it can't be used on any other bike, and someone elses interface will not work on yours. What has been suggested before is to wrap it in bubble wrap and take it with you if you are going on a trip in case something were to happen to your map that is in your ECM. Another reason to take it on trips (especially bike events) is if you think you may want to have your bike dyno tuned and new maps created you will need it to do those. Other then that, keep it in a safe, secure place.

70-GTX,

As Fired00d said, the only part that is absolutely necessary is the communications interface box.  The software CD and connection cables can stay at home, but the box is required if you want a dealer or dyno tuner to work on your ECM.  They will already have the cables and software.

Some folks actually have the interface box attached to the bike near the ECM, so it will always be available and won't get lost.  Seems like a good idea.
