I put a PCV on my 08 FXDSE2 to get the bike to run cooler. One day the bike started to run very rough so I checked the tuner and where it plugged into the stock tuner, it was full of water. Took out and left out the PCV, cleaned the stock connector put it back together and the bike ran like normal. I still have the PCV but I will not put the PCV back because I did not think it ran any cooler with it. Now I want another tuner but I don't know which one.

The only thing I have done to the bike is changed the seat and put on a set of Rush Slip-On with 1.5 baffles. I do not think I will do anything else [like different cams] to this bike. I just want it to run cooler. I have read a lot about TTS and Thundermax tuners but can not make up my mine which one to get. I am not very computer savvy so I don't think I could tune the TTS and the nearest dealer that sells them is 2 hours away and I think the Thundermax might be more then what I need but I have a dealer that sells the just 15 min. from my house.

I need some advice, what should I do?

I now have over 6K miles on the PCV with wide band and auto tune with no problems and it runs perfectly. There should be a seal at the connection. Check to be sure its there. You can add the auto tune to your PCV and forget about any further tuning. Call PC or FuelMoto is a good source for more info. It's plug and play easy.
