Does anyone know of a company that still makes high comp pistons for the se 103? ive looked online without any luck. This 103’ceank is a odd ball and now being 20 years old seems alot of piston options are discontinued, i am installing a drago 580 cam i may very well ditch the se heads for stock “worked” heads of i cannot source pistons at a reasonable price price . One quote for a custom set was $950

I lined up a 07+ 103 piston next to a 88ci and to my piston today, my 103 piston has the same connecting rod as a 88 but the location of the pin is the same as the 07+ 103 with the tapered rod end. So tue only difference i see in using a 07+ piston is the tapered wrist pin area, i dont see why i cant just machine away enough material for my rod to work. Am i missing something? Then i could use 2007+ pistons , no?

Thanks i ordered the kbs from dennis kirk that were made for these heads but listed for 07+ ill keep ya posted

Contact Terry Stewart. CP Dealer. Arias was purchased by CP and still has stock on some of the obsolete numbers. KB pistons with a dome will work as well but are not designed for this chamber. Arias made the OEM CVO pistons originally. KB 95cc pistons are for 2007 and UP CVO 110 engines or 103 engines with CVO 110 heads.

Thanks, KB has a piston designed for the SE 95cc head i ordered it but i will be returning it as i found out zippers had a 107 piston with a +14cc dome for this head as well 10.8-1 comp. i seen many posts and had people tell me custom pistons are the only option so if anyone else is looking there are options
