I put the ZAGG shield on my 660.  It effectively cuts the glare and I can see my 660 in sunlight.  Plus Zagg offer free replacements if you ever manage to damage one.  Great shields.  I have them on the zumo, digital cameras, iPod, iPad, and all our cell phones.

Thanks for the info and link. I noticed they don't list one for the Zumo 660. What did you choose?

Will this mount work with the 550? It looks like the same mounting bracket. Also, did you need to purchase any additional hardware to mount it?

Thanks,
Mike

Finally got mine installed (660), just like the mid year 2010 CVO, out of the way, looks good (not that it really matters to me). About $120 in parts, new dash pad etc etc.... like it a lot.

Check out Chicago Spike's thread and Eric's (retsublo??)  they got me started, I ran into the 665 cable differance AFTER I drilled the hole and had to improvise.

I put this on mine and it helps a bunch plus it will fold down and Velcro shut over the screen.  A bunch on the Zumo forum have put wire in the front seam to stiffen it, I haven't put the wire in but might.  Do a search and there's big thread about it.

I have used the same shade on all my Garmins.  Works like a mini awning and attaches with velcro

Looks like it advertises as a scratch protector vs an anti-glare shield.   :nixweiss:

Got one and put it on. Much better IMO.
